Classification of laminating machine

Cold Glue Laminating Machine

Uses liquid adhesives, which can be divided into solvent-based and water-based adhesives. The coating method consists of scraping and roller coating. Volatile solvent adhesives are applied by scraping, and the adhesive box is easy to seal to prevent the escape of the coating glue. Water-based adhesives and adhesives with low volatility are generally applied by roller coating for ease of use. The disadvantage is that the glue has a strong odor, which is not conducive to environmental protection, and the service life of the surface laminating is not as long as that of hot glue lamination machines.

Hot Glue Laminating Machine

The hot glue laminating machine uses solid adhesive, which is melted and heated inside the hot glue box of the laminating machine. Generally, the PUR encapsulating adhesive heating temperature is around 120 degrees, which is suitable for PVC film, wood veneer, and decorative paper leather fabrics. The speed of hot glue machine laminating is faster, and the quality and service life of the lamination are better than those of the cold glue type. The glue is odorless, in line with environmental requirements, but the price is higher than that of the cold glue laminating machine.
